The Fruits of WristStrong: Colbert Cast Sells For $17,200
Steven Colbert injured his wrist June 27 in a fall while running around his New York studio before tapping an episode. Since publicly revealing the injury on the July 26 episode, he has created a red “WristStrong” bracelet, which parodies the yellow “LiveStrong” bands. Proceeds from purchases of WristStrong bracelets, as well as the procedes from auctioning of his cast, will be donated to the Yellow Ribbon Fund, an organization created in early 2005 to assist our injured service members and their families.
